Your Old Roof Torn Off
One of the first stages of our roof replacement process. We start by removing your old shingles with a specific tool we call "rippers." After this we remove the old roofing paper as well as any rotten decking we find such as plywood or shiplap.
New Plywood Sheathing
Usually, roof sheathing only needs to be replaced if it has significant damage from water or an infestation. Preemptively replacing your roof is an excellent idea, as it could save you thousands of dollars in material and time.
Paper Added For Protection
Ice/water shield and synthetic underlayment, is a second line of defence if water gets past your shingles or top layer. Proper installation will make water less likely to damage your sheathing or structural frame than without roofing paper.
